At Cognitably, we believe great training grabs the learner's attention and allows them to stay focused on the training and achieve its goals. Using interactive animation, high quality images and video, and microlearning keeps the learning engaging when explaining complex ideas.
Memory
Great training should also develop strong memories for learners so they can remember how to accomplish specific tasks and navigate situations to inform their decision-making. Gamification turns the rigors of learning into fun that translates into better retention.
Logic and reasoning
We also believe that great training should stimulate a learner's ability to think through problems and use strategies to solve them. This is crucial for their success to complete complex tasks and projects with lots of moving parts. Presenting learners with problems to solve lets them immediately apply what they have learned and reinforces their success.
Visual and auditory processing
And finally, we employ extensive use of visual and auditory tools that improve the learner's ability to absorb and interpret complex information. By replicating the process and putting the learner as close to the actual environment as possible by using animations, video, and audio, learners have a better sense of what they see and hear when they are on the production floor.
